Mutya Orquia Dalaga Na, Silipin Ang Kanyang Glow Up Transformation

 


Who would ever forget this little angel wonder we’ve all loved and watched in her debut TV show, “Mutya”? Born as Ruelleen Angel Olano, or popularly known to her stage name, Mutya Orquia. She was known for many titular and remarkable roles in showbiz, and most of the shows she took part in were truly admirable ones.

She indeed made a very remarkable career in the showbiz industry when she first appeared on the Philippine TV series where she played as the young mermaid people have always been fond of watching on primetime. Because of the success of the TV show, Mutya won 3 awards consecutively on her debut show in 2011.



The young actress also took part on successful TV shows like “Be Careful With My Heart”, where she played the role of Abby Lim, the youngest child of Sir Chief (Richard Yap) along with other premiered co-stars, Jodi Sta. Maria, Janella Salvador, and Jerome Ponce. Because of the success of the show as well, Mutya Orquia bagged home prestigious awards such as the Best Child Performance in the 4th FMTM Awards for TV Entertainment in 2012 and also the Most Popular Female Child Performer in 2014.





Because of her fun and quirky nature, Mutya also became part of the gag show for children, Goin’ Bulilit, where most of the actors and actresses of the millennium graduated from being child stars to teen stars. After GB, Mutya explored more of her acting skills by participating on a number of TV shows and also the film industry.

Mutya Orquia also showcased her talent in drama acting when she performed in the reality-based TV show, Maalaala Mo Kaya, where many of her fans admired her skills in acting outside her usual performance.

Many of her fans are now on the lookout for her social media accounts after her home network was shutdown. And many noticed her amazing glow-up from a young mermaid “Mutya” to a beautiful 14-year-old princess. Now all grown-up, Mutya was still the free-spirited girl we’ve always loved during her time in the limelight. But since ABS-CBN closed down, Mutya took a break from acting and devoted her time making content on her YouTube channel and also enjoying her time making TikTok videos where most of her fans noticed her amazing glow-up.
