Among many stars and celebrities who are into philanthropy and good-will, Anne Curtis is one of them who would always be willing to extend a helping hand to assist people who are in dire need of help and assistance. Although she is one of those actresses who don’t brag about her charitable works and provides assistance in quiet and secrecy, it is hard to miss that Anne is still active in helping those who are in need.
Just recently, a post went viral online about an artist named Ronald Molbog, asking for financial assistance for the healthcare and medical maintenance of his family members suffering from a number of illnesses. Although hesitant to share his problems on social media, Ronald launched a project selling commissions of charcoal portraits online. And one of his first subjects was the portrait of Anne Curtis with her husband, Erwan Heussaff.
He posted the beautiful work of art online, and put it up on sale for only 1,000 pesos, just to cover up the necessities and expenses he needed to save the life of his family members. Netizens were quick to act and immediately sent links to the actress to which she was more delighted to provide her help more than just buying the 1000-peso charcoal portrait.
Since Anne and Erwan decided to move to Australia last year, to give birth to their first child, there weren’t certain updates as to when the couple will return to the Philippines especially they were put on lockdown in Melbourne due to the pandemic.
But this didn’t hinder Anne’s kindness and heart for the needy. With the help of her assistant here in the Philippines, she reached out for Ronald Molbog, purchased the charcoal portrait of her, and asked if how much more he needs to cover up the expenses they need for hospitalization.
And to the artist’s surprise, Anne Curtis decided to pay for the remaining balance and cover for the financial requirements the family needed for healthcare.
This left a beautiful remark to Anne’s fans and followers, as not only did she have a pretty face but also possesses a heart of gold. That regardless of distance, if someone is willing to extend a helping hand, there will always be a number of ways to do so.
