He has a Filipino Cebuana mother named Vanessa Cabello-May while his British father is Matthew May. They used to live in Cebu City, Cebu but his family moved to England when he was four until he was 12 years old. He got his amazing talent in singing from his parents who were both cruise ship singers.
He first caught the attention of the public when he posts his video cover songs of Sean Kingston and Daniel Padilla. It was in 2005 when he auditioned in Pinoy Big Brother:737, he was only 12 years old by that time and he actually won as the 4th Teen Big Placer. After his PBB stint, his first acting project was in the Kapamilya primetime hit, “On the Wings of Love” top-billed by James Reid and Nadine Lustre. He played the characters of “Harry Fausto”, the younger cousin of James Reid's character, and was also partnered by Ylona Garcia playing the role of “Audrey Olivar”.
It was in 2015 when his two songs were released in Spotify. One was his version of "Magmahal Muli" together with Ylona while the other one was his own version of "Now We're Together" which was originally sung by Khalil Ramos. In November 2015 his self-titled album was released.
Two years after he successfully joined the global pop music group “Now United” also known as the “N.U”. He was able to make two world tours with the international pop music group: Promo World Tour from 2018 to 2019 and Dreams Come True Tour in 2019. He had also gone to South Korea, Mexico, West Hollywood (California), Oregon, India, Brazil (Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo), Las Vegas (Nevada) for the filming of their videos.
The group also has its own show on Youtube with 2 seasons broadcast until 2019 in which some episodes have more than a million views.
