Ang manirahan panandalian sa Manila at ang pansamantalang paglisan sa isla, ay isang malaking pagsubok ngayon para sa aktres at full-time celebrity mom na si Andi Eigenmann.

Malayo man sa kanyang kasintahan na si Philmar Alipayo, patuloy na nagpapaka-positibo si Andi kasama ang kaniyang dalawang prinsesa na si Ellie at Lilo at ang nalalapit na pagdating ng kanilang ikatlong munting anghel.

Malugkot man sa sitwasyon nila ngayong pamilya, isa sa mga natutunan ni Andi na may mga bagay sa buhay na minsan ay hindi naka-ayon sa pansariling kagustuhan.

Kaya bilang isang ina, ganito ang gusto niyang matutunan rin ng kaniyang dalawang anak.

Just making the most of what we’ve got. How ironic it is that just when our new home is ready and we’ve fully adjusted to the idea of settling on the island, we can’t get there. taking this as an opportunity to teach my kids these realities in life. As I mentioned in our upcoming vlog (stay tuned this weekend!), I want to raise them to be aware that sometimes things just don’t go our way, and that everything happens for a reason. And while its okay to feel sad sometimes, it also doesn’t hurt to find the silver lining in all of this. We’re just so grateful to all be healthy and safe. And when the time comes that we do get to go back and all be together again, as Ellie says, it will be wonderful!

Missing papa more and more everyday. I’m grateful that we’re now at a point in our lives where we have become stronger and so much happier, and more sure of eachother. Even more so now that our family is growing. But it’s honestly been more and more of a struggle to be our usual positive selves during this time. Being a part for so long, missing all of the special events in our lives, him not seeing baby 3’s development 1st hand, and him not being around to witness some of Lilo’s milestones. Grand gestures and big celebrations were never our thing. As papa always says, “as long as we’re all together, Im happy na”. Who would’ve thought there would come a time that something seemingly so simple would be so difficult to achieve. I miss you making us laugh so hard like we’ve never laughed before, I miss our fun island adventures, and discovering beautiful places nobody else has ever seen. I miss sharing special and beautiful moments with you. Even beach days spent just staring at the ocean with you by my side. — it’s funny how this was supposed to be a post about missing the island life, but it ended up being about you. Home really is where the heart is.
