“Age doesn’t matter,” iyan naman ang laging sinasabi lalo na sa pag-ibig. Hindi nga naman basehan ang edad kapag tayo ay umiibig ng isang tao. Sabi nga nila, kapag mahal mo hanggat wala kang tinatapakang ibang tao, ipagl@ban mo. Kaya naman, ang edad ay hindi basehan sa pagmamahalan.
Bagay na ipinaliwanag ng aktres at host na si Pauleen Luna. Ayon kay Pauleen, hindi daw niya alintana ang edad sa pagsasamahan nila ni Bossing Vic Sotto.
Kahit nasa 34 na taon ang kanilang agwat, hindi ito naging hadlang sa kanilang relasyon. Hindi din ito naging problema o nararamdaman dahil napakatibay ng kanilang pag-iibigan.
Ayon kay Pauleen, respeto daw ang sikreto nila ni Bossing kung bakit mas napagtitibay ang relasyon nila.
“A few weeks ago, we were interviewed by Miss @luchicruzvaldes for her show. She asked me “How do you deal with the age gap?” I wasn’t able to give a good answer because i honestly do not feel the “gap” that we have,” saad ni Pauleen.
“That afternoon, i thought hard about that question and i came up with an answer, a real answer. My husband loves me very much and gives me a certain kind of confidence and security about our relationship but i think the thing i love most about him is the amount of respect he gives me,” dagdag pa niya.
Samantala, kahit pa malaki ang agwat ng kanilang edad nirerespeto ni Bossing Vic ang mga desisyon ni Pauleen. Kaya naman, isa ito sa mga kinabibilib ni Pauleen.
“He respects my life decisions, he respects my room to grow and he respects me like an equal. Never did i hear my husband raise his voice and felt like i was younger and didn’t matter. I always felt validated. I always feel important around him. Respect plays a big role in any relationship. I know deep in my heart that it’s one of the main reasons why this relationship is so easy,” patuloy pa ni Pauleen.
