We may have a lot of names in our minds when we talk about successful and famous celebrities. Most of them portrayed as the main character or the leading role in the movies and television programs they are cast to. But as many people would say, a movie or a television series will never be successful without the annoying and disturbing villains whose characters will definitely have a great part in the story’s success.

One of the most famous villains of all time is no other than the  respected actor Ruel Vernal. He is one of the most iconic characters in many films for playing the role of a villain.

The actor’s real name is Norberto Paranada Venancio. He becomes an ideal bad guy in all the projects offered to him because of his height and great physique for more than three decades in the show business industry.

Some of his unforgettable projects were “Kapag Buhay Ang Inutang”, “Kapitan Pablo”, and “Hindi Pa Tapos Ang Laban”. Some of the famous and veteran actors he had worked with were the late Action King Fernando Poe Jr., Lito Lapid, and Ramon Revilla Sr. Because of his amazing portrayals, he garnered a lot of awards and recognition before. It was back in 2003 when he appeared in his last project entitled “Dayo”. A lot of his Filipino fans and supporters were asking where he is now ever since he left the industry for more than 17 years already.

According to some reports he is happily living in Washington D.C. as a private citizen. He lives a comfortable life there together with his family. Even though he is already 73 years old, he still goes to the gym regularly. No wonder that he is still fit and looks younger now. Although, the public miss him already many of them are happy to know that he is doing great now and is living happily with his loved ones away from the chaotic world of show business.
